Knockout Chaos in the Entryway
Look at ways to streamline clutter near your entryways. We had a rug as you came in our door that my family would use as their drop zone. It drove me crazy, because it's the first thing you see when you walk in! I replaced it with a bin for each of my kids and retrained myself to use my office as my landing zone.

Have a designated “landing zone” (container, bin, shelf, location) for things you need with you when you leave, or need to drop off quickly when you arrive. Things such as shoes, school or office supplies / backpacks, coats, umbrellas, keys, outdoor toys, etc.
-
I did learn the hard way if you store your keys too close to where your car is parked the battery in the key fob needs replaced more often.
